It does feature one boob named Jacob who longs to keep his ex-wife close-by for masochistic pleasure. There's also C.B., a nervous romantic with a hapless crush on an exotic burping beauty named Lizzie, who only wants to find a man with a mind like a woman, fall in love, and fly away to Paris. It's an intoxicating blend of early sixties European romp and post-modern cynicism in glorious technicolor! OPINIONS ARE LIKE DUCKS... “Stylistic, inspired fun!” David Miner, Producer 3 ARTS ENTERTAINMENT “A great, fun-filled success!" Tony Carey,, VP of Production BRILLSTEIN-GREY ENTERTAINMENT “Tres entertaining!” Toni Gallagher, Executive Producer VH1 “I liked it... Especially the funny parts!” Paul Guay, Writer "Heartbreakers," "Liar, Liar" “As if speed dating wasn’t wild and wacky enough, and a little weird too, 'Duck, Duck, Goose!’ creates a manic, over-the-top illustration of what can happen when you’ve decided to utilize this fast food dating process. C.B. takes the blind date plunge and surfaces with Lizzie, a beautiful young woman who’s obsessed with the French language and her dream of some day flying off to Paris. Lizzie is also divorced. Nothing weird there. But she also continues to live with her ex-husband as a kind of “best buds” type of thing. Cue weirdness and cue the squirm inducing uncomfortable situation for C.B. as he picks up Lizzie for their first date only to have this ex-hubby insisting on tagging along. And so the three speed off into this creepy date from hell that leads to many revelations for these characters and plenty of laughs for the audience.\ And “Duck, Duck, Goose!” doesn’t skimp on the laughs, either. From moment one, you understand that you’re watching the work of a comedically talented cast and crew. The jokes are rapid fire and always hit their mark, a lot of that success having to do with the cast seemingly having so much fun with the material. Having a little trouble with your love life? I prescribe a little “Duck, Duck, Goose!” to help pick you up out of the gutter.” 4 stars! Eric Campos, FILM THREAT “I sat in the audience last night when your film showed and people were laughing and totally rolling with it. The biggest laugh always seems to come from your speech at the urinal (and it's brilliant pay-off at the table about looking for the chair for ten years), and when everyone in the restaurant 'flips back' in their chairs after the car-ride. Oh My God People Love That. Pure Fun...” Mike Zimmerman Festival Director NEW YORK EMPIRE FILM FESTIVAL “The adult version of this childhood game is figuratively played out in ‘Duck, Duck, Goose’, a 21-minute film playing during the “Viva La Laugh” segment of the evening’s events. And it contains some good chuckles, with the film, performances and script all being a bit over the top. This makes for a comical satire on dating, love and self-empowerment. DDG also presents a love triangle at its weirdest… Things become increasingly weirder as these relationships begin to resemble an odd variation of that duck, duck, goose game. Only this is not an innocent, childlike adventure. A quirky love story—if you want to call it that—at its finest.” Christa Martin GT WEEKLY Santa Cruz, CA CAST & CREW BIOS D.C. DOUGLAS (Jacob, writer/director/editor) Born in Berkeley, California, to a liberal/artist mother and a conservative/salesman father during the tumultuous sixties. Like his vaudevillian grandfather, he fell into theatre at an early age. Acting was the one constant in a childhood filled with many moves and schools. He studied and preformed at the San Jose Music/Arts Institute, the San Jose Children's Musical Theatre and the East Bay Centre Repertory as well as other Northern California theatre companies in the late 70s and early 80s. He moved to Los Angeles in 1985 to study under (the late, great) Estelle Harman, became a member of the critically acclaimed New One-Act Theatre Ensemble from 1989 to 1992 and landed several small film and TV roles here and there. His semi-break came in 1996, when he was cast in a guest role on the pilot “Boston Common”. The producers (of “Will & Grace” fame) liked his quirky versatility on-camera (and his loud laugh off-camera at the network run-thru) that he returned for 10 more episodes as the anal and humorless "D.C." More film and TV work followed; An effete designer on “Beverly Hills, 90210,” a clueless dimwit on “King's Pawn” with James Avery and Glenn Morshower, an understated lawyer on “The Commission” with Martin Sheen and Martin Landau. In the Krista Allen film, “Totally Blonde,” the director couldn't decide whether to cast D.C. as the perverted desk clerk or the annoyed French waiter - so he was cast in both roles. “Duck, Duck, GOOSE!” marks D.C.’s 4 film short he’s written and the 3rd film short he’s directed. TOM ROBOTHAM (Director of Photography) Tom Robotham is a Director of Photography in the International Cinematographers Guild. He has lit an shot feature films, commercials, music videos, and documentaries. ROBIN MEYERS (Lizzie) A native New Yorker, Robin performed a variety of leads in numerous off-off Broadway theatre and improvisational productions in Manhattan. After a seven month national tour of "Snow White," Robin moved on to originate the lead role of Sonya, a Nazi resistance fighter in the award-winning play, "The Promised Land" which was produced in both New York and Budapest, Hungary. Robin’s critically acclaimed comedic one woman show "R.S.V.P." brought her to Los Angeles where she has appeared on such TV shows as "Angel" and "What I Like About You," as well as the leads in several independent films, including "The Family Mancuso" and the award-winning, "The Mating Game." BRYAN CUPRILL (C.B.)
